    Music manifests through vibrations which change our experience of a given moment causing joy, pleasure, happiness. And yet, all the way through the making of this album, I returned to a sense of making something physical. Cobbling shoes was the enduring and somehow comforting image that carried me through the process. And so this CD is a physical object. For me, it's proof that it really happened. My niece, Alice, had planned her wedding to Will. A family wedding in June 2019 - and then, suddenly, the world was thrown into chaos. Alice and Will married each other in a Registry Office. There was no-one there. My brother was unable to give away his beautiful only daughter. But when everything was stripped away, what was laid bare was the love that remained.
